Acne laser treatment

Acne treatment, consists in reducing scars produced by this pathology through laser called CO2. Such lesions leave deep scars in areas such as: cheeks, forehead, nose, neck and back, which do NOT improve by using lotions.

CO2 laser reduces thickness of skin and reduces deepness of scars reducing their size. At the same time, it polishes skin so it does not look thick and irregular. The final result is a reduction of scars, fresher skin and more homogeneous significantly reducing the stigma of having suffered acne.

1How long does the acne laser treatment take?
Treatment leaves a long-lasting result. In some patients, maintenance sessions are recommended every 1 to 2 years.
2How long is the recovery?
Skin will be very red for a period of 5 to 8 days. It will continue to be red as if it were tanned for approximately 15 more days.
3What precautions must I have after treatment?
Basically, to follow recommendations from the doctor, to avoid sun and use of lotions.
4When will I see the results of my acne laser treatment?
1 laser session a month for 3 months needs to be performed. After the last session, results will be seen 2 to 3 months after its application, while skin is regenerated.
5Who is an ideal prospect for laser acne treatment?
Every person who has suffered acne and who has scars. Not recommended if the person still has acne.
6With what other names is this procedure known as?
Fractioned CO2 laser.
7Am I going to have anti-aesthetic scars after the procedure?
No, the objective is to reduce scars because of acne.
8Can this procedure be combined?
Yes, this procedure may be combined with other topic treatments to reduce marks, antioxidant skin treatments and plasm enriched with plaquettes.
9Does it hurt much?
Laser application is painful; thus, it is done with sedation. Use of anesthesia avoids pain significantly and after finishing the procedure, it is a little bit painful.
